Windham roadside walls
These "farmer's" or "single stack" walls were reconstructed for the town of Windham, NH. Road construction forced the temporary removal of the walls. Colonial Stoneworks then helped with the rebuild, this in an effort to restore a bit of the historic charm of London Bridge and Rowe Roads. -
North Hampton Fire Place and Patio
Completed in the summer of 2011 this new back yard patio more than doubled the area of the existing patio. This allowed for the construction of a large outdoor fireplace with seating walls and a location for the homeowners grill. Not only did this project make the back yard more inviting but it also connected it to the driveway and parking for guests. Also included in the project was a small discrete pathway leading to an outdoor shower for rinsing off after a day at the beach! -

Castle Hill
This project consisted of various walls aound the customers property as well as installing a new front walkway and stairs. The original work was completed in 2008, however, as with many of our customers we were invited back to do some additional wall work on the property. The new project entailed tearing down an existing retaining wall that was in disrepair installing a compacted base of coarse stone and rebuilding using the material from the original wall. -
Amesbury
A long term project which is transforming a relatively unusable small back yard space into an outdoor living area filled with interest. This project was designed from the combined visions of the homeowner and the mason. Much of the design aspects were actually dictated by the shapes of the stones used in construction. -
Windham High School
This project was a donation to our hometown. Our recently constructed High School is an amazing beautiful structure. Colonial Stoneworks wanted to do our part in helping with the finishing touches. -
Raven Rock
This is actually the third incarnation of this wall at a unique Milford, NH property. Previous attempts had failed after only a few harsh New England winters. The client approached us with one requirement.... build it right. We utilized large quarry tailings and dry laid techniques to ensure a structure that will outlast the owners. -

Rock Pond
For this project the team was brought in to replace an existing concrete wall with structural damage. All materials were sourced on the client's property, a "green" option we are more than willing to exercise. Make sure you see all the before and after shots on this project. -
